Christmas Tree card

I know this post is late (worked late last night and didn't get home till 8:00 PM ) but to make up for that I have a two-for-one today.

First, the snowy tree card:

This was inspired by several cards I saw online using a pine tree branch punch that I currently do not own. I know, how is that even possible you might think. Over 600 punches and yet there are still great must-haves I do not own yet. I'm having a hard time with it myself :)

I looked through my vast collection and thought there has to be a good substitution in there somewhere. What I came up with was the large duty miller leaf punch from PB. For the above tree I  actually used a combination of the large and the medium, but it's not necessary to have both sizes. I'm not sure how many but I'm guessing approx. 24 leaves were used.

The tree decorations are several 3/16" circles punched from silver sparkling cardstock and a few little clear jems. The tree is topped with a small northern star (EK) also punched from the sparkling paper. The snow is a torn piece of white cardstock. My greeting is an old SU stamp.

After I made this card I thought to myself, I can do better.
So, I played some more and came up with an indoor decorated Christmas tree.

I arranged the leaves a little differently, added a tree skirt and more assorted decorations, some sparkles and volia. Hope you like it.

As you can see I made several different versions. All are mounted on white embossed cardstock.

This concludes my 24 (+) days of Christmas punch art.
Next I'm working on some gifts I have to finish by Christmas.
