Mouse Treat Wrapper

I am really enjoying making treat packages with the Curvy Keepsake die I have several more and way too many ideas in my head)

Today's' treat wrapper is again only using two of the handled sides of the box die.

This little mouse (or rate if you like) can hold small bag with candy, kisses etc or a chocolate bar. He's great for Valentine's as well as party favours. I glued the bag handles (under the nose) together so the treat will slide out on either side.

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Bazzill
Ink: Smokey Slate, Pink Pirouette - both SU
Dies: Curvy Keepsake - SU, Oval Framelits (3rd smallest) - SU
Punches: 1/2" circle - PB (pupils), 3/4" circle - PB (eyes and lids), 1" circle - PB (inner ear and nose), 1 1/4" circle - PB (ears)
Misc.: white gel pen

Notes: I cut the box bottom to approx. 3/4" so that my wrapper is not much thicker than a candy bar.
The oval shape used for the head was trimmed approx. 1/2" straight across one short end and lines up with my wrapper to create the head. The whisker were hand cut.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you again soon.

Alligator Curvy Keepsake Box

I have another quick Curvy Keepsake box to share. This one again only uses two of the "handled" sides of the die shape but to change it up I turned it into an alligator.

He came together really quick and looks rather sweet if you don't mind the teeth. He can hold any small treat package in his mouth (I glued the handles together, so access is from the sides). My little fellow is holding a clear little bag with 6 Hershey's Kisses.

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Bazzill: hunter green, black and white
Punches: 1 1/4" circle - PB (eyelids and eye base), 1" circle - PB (whites of eyes) , 3/4" circle - PB (pupils and cheeks), Lotus Blossom - SU (teeth), medium oval - SU (bridge of "nose")
Embossing folder: Reptile - Darice
Die: Curvy Keepsake - SU
Misc.: white gel pen

Hope you enjoyed this harmless little reptile project. Thanks for stopping by!

Curvy Keepsake Valentine's Treat

Today I am sharing this cute little Valentine's treat package made from the Curvy Keepsake die.

This little package only uses 2 of the "handled" sides of the box shape. I also trimmed the base to approx 1" so it creates a narrower box.  I embossed my cardstock using the border stamp and then sponged it with the green and coral ink. Then I cut out a window and glued together the bottom of my `bag``. I filled a little clear bag with candy and taped it to the inside. Then tied the bag at the top with ribbon and added my greeting and accent.

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Bazzill (base is light grey)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral, Basic Black - all SU, Versamark
Stamps:  Love Always - SU, Love Swirls (wheel-border) - SU, Lovely Little Labels - SU
Punch: Jewelry tag - SU
Dies: Curvy Keepsake Box - SU, Circles Framelits - SU
Misc.: Desert Tapestry embossing powder - Personal Stamp Exchange, 1/2" peach satin ribbon, Foam mounting square.

Hope you enjoyed this quick little treat.

Thanks for stopping by; see you again soon.

Love Birds Valentine

I admit of all the cards I've made for Valentine's this year,  this on is my favourite.
I love this adorable little couple perched so cozily on their branch enjoying the moonlit night.

And in case you are wondering, yes, these birds are made using just one punch.
So for those of you that do not currently own the owl builder punch, you might just want to consider it for your next order. It's amazing how versatile it is.

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry, Marina Mist, Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral - all SU

"Tumbling" Head Over Heals

I am sharing another cute little Valentine's critter today.
He's just as easy to make as my honey bear (just one punch) and I have to say I absolutely fell in love with this floppy little bunny.

Truth be told this little fellow had not been intended for Valentine's at all. I came up with this design when working on upcoming Easter themed creations. I made several bunnies, posing them all in different positions and somehow managed to have this little fellow look like he is almost somersaulting. This reminded me of some stamps I own that haven't been used too much and I went searching for the "Head over Heals" sentiment as I thought it work extremely well.

Wouldn't you love to have this little guy tumble head over heals for you?

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Bazzill
Stamps: Many Happy Returns - SU, Vintage Frames - SU
Ink: Calypso Coral, for inking card edges: Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Garden Green - all SU

I have bought so many flower stamp sets with matching punches lately only to not really used them much that it's high time I pulled them out of the cupboard and put them to use.

So this past week I made these lovely all occasion cards.

Gift Card Set

It was a pleasant surprise when I received several requests this past Christmas for handmade card gift sets. I made several and just absolutely love how this set turned out so though I'd share it.

You may have guessed it, I recycled a tissue box again. This woodland scene box is a Royale box (you can see it on their website here) and has been tucked away in my stash for some time just waiting for the right project.

Believe it or not, all eight cards were made from the one box, and it's not a very big one. I did use every square inch of it though.

Most of the cards are fairly straight forward so I won't be listing full instructions for these, but there are supply list under each image. Also, I used some Diamond Sparkles by PSX on most of them. Usually on the trees, sometimes on the bird image. It doesn't show up as well as I had hoped in the photo's but you can see a little copper/gold shimmer here and there.

Curvy Keepsake Party Favours

A Happy New Year to everyone!
I hope everybody had a great holiday. Best wishes for the new year!

I have been working on some absolutely adorable (if I do say so myself) punch art critters for Valentine's (and Easter). They however have not been turned into finished projects yet and I also still need to create the instructions. I did order a new version of Photoshop and should have it soon. Once installed it should greatly speed up the process as I am not quite getting the hang of GIMP.

Today I have a quick project to share; these cute little favour boxes I made.

And here is a close up:

They are so fast and simple to put together. I filled each with after dinner mints and a little Christmas joke. They were the perfect addition to our table setting; serving as both a place marker and a treat. They were also very well received.

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Plum - Bazzill
Ink: Versamark
Stamp: Baroque Motives - SU
Die: Curvy Keepsake Box - SU
Punch: Ticket Due - SU
Misc.: silver embossing powder, 5/8" silver organza ribbon, white/silver baker's twine (names were PC generated)

Thanks for stopping by.
